I have decided to write this Blog becuse of all of the unfair, and malicious attacks I have heard and read about Chairman of The RNC, The Most Honorable Michael Steele. The incident last week with Rush Limbaugh was unfortunate and blown entirely out of porportion, not only by those on the "Left" but by willing participants on the "Right"

First and foremost, in my view, what Michael Steele said wasn't really that horrible, he did misspeak, and that's a shame, but he's human, and that happens to all of us. The way Rush reacted to it, was childish, I know I am about to open myself up to childish attacks, but I really don't care, I have been a Rush Limbaugh fan since I was 13 years old. I love him and accept him just the way he is, he's made me laugh several times over the past few months when I really needed it, so I know exactly how Rush is going to react to certain things, he's not the problem, I don't think either he nor Mike Steele make the Republican Party look bad, I feel the intolerant, racist, ignorant, and very disrspectful things that have been being written and said by "So Called Conservatives", "Ditto Heads", and "Rockefella Republicans" make us look bad......

For example, Michael Steele is one of my Facebook Friends, so I went to his wall last week, I read the most ignorant, cruel, and disrespectful things directed toward Chairman Steele, I became enraged, and wrote some pretty nasty responses, defending Michael Steele. Hey I'll admit it, that was very childish, I can be a big baby. This was a disaggreement between two grown men, not between, Michael Steele and people who listen to Rush Limbaugh. I mean really, since when did we become like "The Intolerant Hard Left Liberals" that we whine about constantly? How can we as Conservatives, complain about our Constitutional Right, to freedom of speech being violated, when the very moment anyone on our side of fence doesn't articulate themselves correctly, we attack them viciously, and call them childish names? In this instance, Michael Steele did the "adult thing" and called Rush "PRIVATELY" and apologized and explained that he misspoke, the incident should have been over with, correct? No, not in this case, I am still seeing childish things being written on my Facebook Page about Michael, not being the real leader of the party...Rush is the real leader....Mike Steele is a Rino......and my personal favorite, Mr. Steele is through...I am not only seeing this garbage on Facebook, but when I went to Twitter last night, I saw an update, that stated..."Michael Steele, should step aside as RNC Chair, or the RNC, should force him to resign...The person went on to say, how she's been a supporter of Mike, since the beginning, etc, etc, and she posted a link, I guess for people to go read her Blog, I did myself a favor, I chose not punish myself, and I did not follow the link...With supporters like her Mike Steele does not enemies....Michael Steele admitted he was wrong, and he gets mariginalized? What about that makes sense? I mean really, since when did admitting you are wrong about something make you a coward? Aren't we supposed to admit when we are wrong about something? Isn't that why we get angry with Liberals because they never admit when they are wrong and change the rules as they go along to suit their own selfish wants, needs, desires? I always thought it took a lot courage to admit when you are wrong, I guess not with these "inlorant, right wing, liberal wannabe's"

To adress the issue on whether Michael's a true Conservative or not I am going to give a couple of examples shall we say of the way Michael was treated here in the State of Maryland, he was my Lt. Governor, I have followed Michael's Career for a very long time, obviously, the people who are attacking him are not.....

1. Michael was Chairman of the Prince George's County Central Commitee, where as a "Black Roman Catholic Conservative" he was subject to ridicule. Maryland is a very "Blue State" but Prince George's County, may be one of the "Bluest" parts, if not the "Bluest"

2. He was chairman, of the Maryland Republcan Party, and was once again subject to ridicule, like he got the position because of the color of his skin....

3. This had to be the worst of all....When Bob Ehrlich chose him to run on his ticket, as Lt. Governor, Michael was subject to racist attacks from every angle, Liberals, The Baltimore Sun, and some ignorant Republans, who implied that Mike was only chosen because of the color of his skin.....That is one of the biggest lies I have ever heard in my life! Bob chose Mike, because Mike fought along side of him in the trenches for the Republican Party here in Maryland, which is not an easy thing to do....

4. When Michael debated his Democratic Counterpart, in the Lt. Governors debate he had Oreo Cookies thrown at him, so I really do not want to hear Mike Steele is a Rino, that is a load of Crap, if I have ever heard it.....Rino's have no backbone, and no principals, Mike had always stood up for what he believes in, even when it meant he'd be disrespected.

I have also heard a bunch a bologna about Michael Steele not being Pro-Life, because he had the nerve to be associated with a group that tries to get Pro-Choice Republicans elected, again I say, when did we become intolerant like the "Liberals" that we whine about? Michael is very Pro-Life, again, I can give you a couple of examples......

1. Micheal lived and studied in a Seminary, he was a Monk.......Although, he eventually, decided to leave the Seminary, and pursue a career in Law, he took his Love for God and Life with him, unlike a lot of Politcal Figures, who claim to be Catholic, but check their Catholic Teachings at the door, when it suits the Politically.....

2. Bob Ehrlich ran as a Pro-Choice Republican, ( to be fair to Bob, he's not that Pro-Choice, he voted against Partial Birth Abortion, while in Congress) knowing this, Michael Steele, still attended and gave speeches at Pro-Life Rallies, Bob and Michael are like the best of friends, and both are "True Reagan Conservatives" and are tolerant of other people's opinions and beliefs.......

I have seen stupid things being written and said about Chairman Steele, going on Television News Shows too much...I would like to put this question forward to you: How is the Republican Party suppossed to get their message across, if we don't have someone to articulate our "Conservative Principals" for us? I have also heard about "Un-Named Sources" within the GOP, stating they don't like the phrase "Hip-Hop Republican", well I feel sorry about your bad luck, because I like that phrase, it doesn't compromise "Conservative Principals", but it does make us sound less like snobs, and more like down to earth human beings, which unfortunately for you, most people in the party are down to earth....Michael Steele is a "True Reagan Conservative" hasn't anyone ever seen him on Hannity? I guess not, because, if they did, they wouldn't be trashing him....Speaking of Sean Hannity, Sean endorsed Mike for RNC Chair...Would Sean Hannity endorse a Rino? I think not.......
